Hotel Riet has 34 double rooms, all with their own terrace or balcony where you can bathe in the last rays of the setting sun. Let yourself be lulled to sleep by the rhythm of the wind and enjoy a good night's sleep in our box-spring beds. The rooms are designed to make you feel at home. Each room has a seating area, a luxurious rain shower and coffee and tea-making facilities. Some rooms even have a private infrared sauna or luxurious bath. Everything you need to unwind.

At Hotel Riet, Zeeland entertainment is just around the corner. From the hotel, it is a short 15-minute walk to the dune crossing at Dishoek. The southern beach is a lovely place to spend your summer days. You can also enjoy walking through the surf and the rolling dunes. Don't forget to stop at one of the beach pavilions for a snack and a drink. In the evening, we welcome you to Restaurant Chabot, the restaurant of our big sister Hotel Zeeuws Licht, located one kilometre away. There are also several villages and towns in the area that are definitely worth a visit, such as Zoutelande, Domburg, Vlissingen and Middelburg. As you can see, Hotel Riet is the perfect place for a wonderful stay on the Zeeland coast.

We use innovative technology: you’ll be assisted by a holographic reception, staffed by a team of real employees. You can use the holobox to call our receptionists, who will then appear in the holobox as holograms. This is how we help you with check-in and show you around the hotel. This means we’re available 24/7 to assist you and ensure you have a comfortable stay.

Yes! The dune crossing to the beach is about 1 km from Hotel Riet. From the hotel, follow the main road to the left. After 140 metres, there is a path for pedestrians and cyclists on the right. Follow this path and you will arrive at the beach.

There's a lot to do around Hotel Riet! You can enjoy the beach, dunes and beach pavilions in all seasons. Take a (cycling) tour of nearby towns and villages, such as Middelburg, Vlissingen, Zoutelande, Domburg or Veere. Or take the ferry and discover “the other side” with its beautiful cycle paths and villages. Take a look at our other recommendations too.

Hotel Riet only serves breakfast. However, we do have an Honesty Bar stocked with a variety of soft drinks and snacks. You can help yourself to a drink on trust.

There are several restaurants in the area. You can pop into Restaurant Chabot in Dishoek for a bite to eat and a drink. Take a look at the menu and opening hours, and book your table.

Of course! Hotel Riet is a great place to stay for a family holiday with young children. We can place a baby cot in your room for a fee. Please indicate this when making your reservation. The cots are suitable for children up to 2 years old. It is not possible to place an extra single bed in the room.

Dogs are welcome at Hotel Riet, but only in the Deluxe Room with Terrace. We can only allow one dog per room. When making your reservation, you can request to bring your dog. We will confirm your request as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot allow dogs in the breakfast lounge. Questions? Please contact our reception.

Yes, all rooms at Hotel Riet are accessible by lift.

Do you use a wheelchair or have difficulty walking? If so, you are still welcome to enjoy a stay at Hotel Riet. All rooms are accessible by lift. We have also adapted one Deluxe Room with Terrace and one Deluxe Room with Balcony so that the bathroom is wheelchair accessible.
