Zoutelande

Zoutelande is one of the most beautiful villages in Walcheren and together with Vlissingen, Dishoek and Westkapelle it forms the Zeeland Riviera. With its rare orientation to the south and the gigantic hours of sunshine you will find yourself in a tropical resort in the summer.

Zoutelande beach

From the pedestrian boulevard you have a beautiful view of the ships passing by. With its wide and high dunes, the beach is one of the most beautiful and cleanest beaches in the Netherlands. This makes Zoutelande also a popular spot for paragliders.

Hotspots Zoutelande

In the summer months there is a cozy atmosphere and crowds. In the winter months it is nice and quiet and the beach is mainly used by fishermen, sportsmen and walkers. Not only does the family resort have a beautiful south beach, Zoutelande is also known for its characteristic stilt heads, the characteristic beach houses and the cozy atmosphere. The shopping center is located in the Langstraat where you can find cozy cafés and restaurants. In the summer months there is a market every Tuesday, which extends to the end of the Langstraat, right in the center. There are also other events that make Zoutelande attractive, such as the annual Coastal Marathon, folkloric days and ring riding.
