Biggekerke is a quiet village and has around 900 inhabitants. In the central point of the village is the Reformed Church, which dates from the 15th century. Biggekerke is best known for the solex races that return to the church square every year. Vintage cars, fun solex drivers and fast specials are the recurring parts of this event. The participants are dressed up and take a trail around the church. After the race goes the cosiness until the late hours. Furthermore, ring riding is also one of the events that brings coziness to the village.
