The Sint Jorisdoelen in Middelburg are transformed into a luxury city hotel. Hotel St. Joris is a delightful 4-star City Hotel with a rich history, a contemporary luxurious interior and a cosy, secluded city garden. In Hotel St. Joris you will find 54 stylish rooms, a characteristic breakfast lounge and an Honesty Bar. A great starting point for a holiday or city trip in Zeeland!

To provide the guests of Hotel St. Joris with a delicious breakfast, we are looking for early birds to strengthen our breakfast team.

Your workday
You will work in the morning and in the afternoon where you will meet new guests every day. The vacationers, whom you see back every morning at breakfast, love to chat with you and tell you how great their stay here is. How fun is that? Together we make sure that our tourist and business guests more than enjoy their breakfast. Thanks to your attentiveness and personal service, our guests lack nothing and they show it only too well by the broad smile on their faces when you refill the breakfast buffet or clear their table. That puts a smile on your face too, doesn't it? In the afternoon you and your colleagues make sure that the breakfast lounge is spic and span for the next day. You are not only an early bird, but also a versatile bird! In the afternoon you will have no problem doing various cleaning tasks.

Who are you?

You are at least 16 years old and can't wait to get started! Naturally you speak Dutch or Englisch and enjoy speaking German. After all, those Deutsche Leute love Zeeland just as much as we do. Do you find speaking German difficult? Don't worry, we will teach you! You are a sociable person with a positive mindset. Everyone sees this in you. That broad smile on your face just won't go away. Hospitality has always been in you and you show this all too well to our guests. You are a real team player and enjoy learning new things. You don't shy away from a challenge and take it up with both hands.

Some extras about the job:

• This vacancy is a position based on a parttime job. Of course your preferences are negotiable
• We follow the HORECA-CAO.
• Are we still super happy with you during the trial period of 1 month? Then we will give you a year contract with a view to...yes...a permanent contract!
• Would you like to work full-time (38 hours) with us? Then you are entitled to 25 vacation days per year. How great is that!
